I like old Glitter Containers. I believe I have the largest collection of old Glitter containers in the world.
I have three.
As I do not know anyone who collects these as I do, I am assuming that my collection is the best in the world. I have found another fourth container, and I hope to add it to my collection as well, but the negotiations over this new piece are still underway, and you never know how these "deals" will end up. Very, very tricky.
Some of my Glitter containers actually contain some glitter. Not very usable due to it's age, but that is not the point. As a collector, I am looking for rare and usual pieces to add, if they still hold some old Glitter, that is just a bonus. As you can see, the glitter is very tarnished, a clear sign that this was great Glitter is it's day.
I have been offered millions of dollars for my complete collection of three cans (actually, two cans, one bottle), but I can not sell. When you have something this rare and special, how could you ever put a price on it. I will just continue to scour the world looking for more containers to help build my collection. And yes, these are insured with Lloyds of London, (of course). Something this rare, well, you have to take precautions. If you see an old Glitter can or bottle, let me know. My negotiation team is on "hot standby", ready to fly the globe is search of old Glitter containers. That's just the way we roll over here.
Beautiful containers! How lucky that you have these. Thanks for linking up to my Share the Love link party!

Those vintage designs are rare because there are few collectors like you whose interests are old cans or bottles. Maybe you can find out how much it is truly worth by participating in different auctions.

I have an antique can of glitter which is full (1 pound) and it is for sale on ebay, the listing ends March 25 I think. The starting bid is $6.90 search "antique glitter scarce" and you should find it. Are you being honest by saying you have been offered millions of dollars for a few old cans??? very unbelievable, and a negotiation team? I sell only to honest people
