Decision Taken. No more Glitter on Etsy or Ebay

Sometimes you can just try too hard... In our quest to dominate the market for German Glass Glitter, or at least sell enough to pay our bills, we expanded aggressively onto both Etsy and eBay. 

While we will continue to sell on ebay (mostly our close out items, and some glass beads), we will no longer sell our Meyer Glitter on either platforms. Now, you might see some limited colors (red / silver) on ebay, this is product we are closing out from another supplier. We brought some in, did not like it and am just trying to cover our costs on ebay.

The reason for this massive change? We have a great dealer network of small companies and individuals that were also selling on ebay and Etsy and it just was not right to compete with these valued customers. 

So, yes, we are leaving millions of dollars on the table (ok, at least a few thousand) so that our dealers do not have to compete with their source for the Glitter. Are we nice guys? (the answer is yes, but not for this reason). I called a number of our dealers to get a read on the business from their vantage point, and this request came through loud and clear! So, it is now official. Decision taken. No more Meyer Glitters on eBay or Etsy.

Been away for while - It's been a strange little trip

It's been a rough summer. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't. We've been working soooooooo hard to make it though "bad times" but could not hold on any longer. Had to make some cuts. Real painful. Had to restructure our business to focus on the core products. Glitter, Glitter, Glitter.

Decided to close out a ton of items that we have had for years. So we are making ebay happy! Lots of great deals on the old German miniatures, odds and ends. Closeouts.

Had to get through bad times to be happy enough to start posting again. I can only post when I am right frame of mind. Sorry.

Have lots of good news, real good news. Will be breaking this week.

Also, my four friends in Europe, have been sitting there waiting for me to continue their story. It's coming!
