This is my first blog post of 2014. It might look like we fell off the earth. Still here. Still active. Still offering the best products with the best service team around. But things are different. Just like your kids, we are growing up. Getting bigger. Getting stonger. Able to do things we could not do before.
Last holiday season, we were working harder than ever before just to keep up. I have never seen the volume of new customers, new orders and repeat customers. Every part of the business was at maxium capacity. And then 2014 hit. And we instantly started getting ready for this new year by investing a huge amount in new products, with new suppliers in Germany, the Czech Republic, France, the Netherlands, the UK. Little companies that create wonderful products who want us as their single distributor in the Americas. Kind of cool.
It is also time to revamp our retail stores on ebay, and we are investing to make that happen. And our website is looking kind of stale, so we are fixing that. And some of our largest customers, are now going to be business partners, so we are working on that.
So, while it may look that we are sleeping, we arereally back in the workshop building something that is going to be better for us and better for you.
Which brings me full circle back to you, our customers and blog readers. All the changes I talked about above are because of your input. Watching what interests you and then offering more. Listening to your comments (and complaints) and fixing them. Getting to know the designers and bloggers you know (and trust) and creating deeper, long term relationships with them.
So, thanks for the best year we have ever had. And please do watch over the next 6 months as tons of exciting things start to spring from the trust you have given us. As a supplier, a partner and as small part of everything you create!
